Why Get DCT for an Audio Component?
There are many reasons why using DCT for audio components is advantageous. Of these, the most commonly desired improvement is that of improved sound quality, which we can deliver by increasing the grain size within the component, and therefore giving less opportunities for the signal to be interrupted. Other benefits include increased durability of components (especially important for more expensive components) and the fact that “burning in” will take a significantly smaller amount of time.
