Prior to Processing :
Ferrous Metals:
All major mchining should be completed before the deep cryogenic treatment. The reason for this: major machining creates stresses in the material. The
cryogenic treatment relieves these stresses.
All finish machining, boring,
honing polishing should be completed after the deep cryogenic treatment.
Shotpeening should be carried out
prior to cryo treatment.
