At Frozen
Solid we
pride ourselves on providing a quality service that is second to none
in the industry. Over the course of many years
we have developed and refined
our proprietary treatment recipes for audio components.
There are
a few companies around the world that offer cryogenic treatments service
for
audio components but we feel we have the edge over them when it comes to DCT.
In fact there are DCT companies
that even promote and market their services by
trying to pass off our achievements as their own!
| Just some of the benefits of using Frozen
Solid’s DCT for Audio… |
Structural continuity. |
Reduction in
compressed grains, more consistent grain size, less directional, less requirement for 'burn in'. |
Reduction in stress in the material, less susceptible to work
hardening, longer service life with increased detail and transparency. |
Smoother surface for reduced skin effect for high frequency signals. |
More regular distribution of grain size, overall increase in grain
size hence less grain boundaries to interrupt signal flow. |
Increased musical detail, clarity and transparency. |

You may have heard or read of
the benefits of Deep Cryogenic Treatment (DCT). Much has been written of DCT and as a result new companies have cropped
up offering to perform a DCT service. Sadly these inexperienced so-called DCT experts quote from such magazines as
these. If you have had the opportunity to read these articles/reviews you may have noticed that they all share
something in common. The DCT cables that impressed the authors of these articles and the subsequent awards in other
magazines were the results of one company. That company is Frozen Solid and we are second to none when it comes to
treating audio components.
Unlike other companies performing similar services
and processing techniques (slow cool down, long soak) that are only suitable for heavy metals; Frozen Solid has
developed it's own proprietary DCT techniques specifically for audio components. Our processing techniques have been
developed specifically to not only ensure the best sound possible but to also ensure the longevity of materials. More
specifically materials such as polymers, and certain type finishes that are currently being used in the audio industry
Frozen Solid will not treat any cable or component. We have identified which
components are suitable for DCT and those that are not. Frozen Solid wants to ensure that the service we provide will
ensure years of musical enjoyment to all of our customers.
